Hi, this is the about us page where I get a chance to tell you a
little about me. Some
of you may already know me but for those of you who don't, my name
is Ed Rizzo.
I am married, 22 years now, and
have 2 girls age 15 and 12. I live in a little town just south of
Syracuse, New York. I spent 8 years in the military and had the
opportunity to live in many places including Europe and visit many
other areas of our world. I also visited just about all 50 states
and Mexico.
I was a welder for well over 25
years and got into Internet Marketing back in 1996. I have been doing internet
marketing full time for 5 of those 10 years.
Some of you may recognize and
know me from my Internet Business, DPD Marketing, where I also
publish a newsletter. I have also written many Marketing Courses,
articles and reports relating to Internet Marketing/Online Business
and Home Based Businesses.
I have a few hobbies which are
hunting, fishing and cooking. That's where I came up with the idea
of this website. Besides cooking, I love to eat!!
While traveling and living I had
the opportunity to visit many restaurants all over Europe, and North
America. It was during this time that I was able to come up with so
many recipes.
It also helped that my wife was
born in Germany and all of her relatives live in Germany and Europe.
Although I met my wife right here in upstate New York many years
after she and her mother traveled to the US. I was able to get many
recipes from her Grandmother.

When I was stationed in Colorado, I
had a friend who's wife was originally from France. He and I went to
Germany around the same time and the two of us would travel around
Europe when time allowed. On one little trip to France, we had the
chance to meet his Mother-In-Law. She was kind enough to give me a
recipe book that belonged to her Mother. Most of the French Recipes
on this website came from there.
Also while in Colorado, there are many
Mexican restaurants that I used to go to. The chef at one of them,
Holly Springs, was a friend of a friend. After a little convincing,
he managed to get me a copy of his Mexican cookbook.
With so much good food and
recipes, I just thought a natural extension of DPD Marketing would
be to share these recipes with my subscribers. One of them actually
mentioned the idea of making a website to share them with anyone
interested. Hence, Cooking With Ed was born.
I now also offer a subscription
Paid Members Only newsletter,
